Academic and Research Bio

Sze Wei Ang’s research focuses on comparative race and minority studies, Asian American Studies, and South East Asian Studies with a focus on Malaysia. She is currently working on a book project on global racial forms in transnational and global literature. Classes normally taught include Introduction to Critical and Cultural Theory, Introduction to Globalization, Ethics and Literature, Narratives of the Past, Colonialism and Violence in Asia. Her work has been published in CR: The New Centennial Review, Journal of Asian Cinemas, and in edited collections.
