Like the saying 'No Pain, No Gain', we have to face some difficulties before getting happiness. 

My Hong Kong Connection

I've had a connection with Hong Kong ever since I was born. Yes, as you may have guessed – I was born and bred here in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong has given many things and opportunities. I've always felt like Hong Kong is my motherland, like I belong here. Once, I had to move to Pakistan, my home country, but of course I couldn't settle there. As much as I love my home country, I cannot deny the fact that Hong Kong is my home and it has made me who I am today.

Living in Hong Kong does have many downsides like tiny living spaces and expensive things, but we should always look on the bright side. Like the saying 'No Pain, No Gain', we have to face some difficulties before getting happiness. 

Things from as little as food, markets and harbour views to more important ones like safety and freedom can be found nowhere else but Hong Kong, which is why our city is often considered as one o the best cities to live in across the word. I am very proud to be living in this 'World's Best City'.
