Comparative Literature Alumni's Farewell for the Main Building, 2012

Memento Postcard Set

As you might know, the Comparative Literature Alumni’s Farewell for the Main Building was held on 17 February, 2012. In that evening, we enjoyed the recitation of Prof. P.K. Leung’s poem about the Main Building, and appreciated creative works by fellow alumni. Most important of all, we took pleasure in seeing Prof. Leung, other faculty members, and our fellow alumni in the Main Building once again, before we move out if it. Pictures of the event can be viewed on Facebook via www.facebook.com/hkucomplit

In the meantime, we are trying to build up a database for alumni graduated from the Department of Comparative Literature. Please spare a few minutes to complete the form in the following link, so that we can stay in touch with you for any departmental news and alumni activity:

Moreover, we are hoping to sponsor part of the cost of the 2012 edition of Prof. P.K. Leung’s The City and the End of Time, edited and with a new introduction by Dr. Esther Cheung. Besides, with the implantation of the 4-year curriculum, the Department of Comparative Literature hopes to create one more scholarship / prize for Comparative Literature majors too. A set of Main Building postcard memento kit, showcasing works about the Main Building from our students and colleagues (see the image above), is also for sale as a limited edition for fundraising purpose.

You can download the donation form with all the necessary information for ordering via http://www.sendspace.com/file/nqkrfq

For any question, please email to semin@hku.hk. We hope you like the postcard sets as we all do, and we look forward to seeing you at our next gathering. Thank you for your ongoing support to the Department of Comparative Literature! We hope you will support your alma mater!
